August Update
Sorry for the big gap in blog entries, I've been pretty busy lately. Let's see, what have I been up to? Well, this past Saturday, Amy and I went to both Dog I and Dog II obedience classes. I played with Barrett and Aspen. Barrett's owner said he thinks I'm the fastest dog in class. Good thing because I am going to be starting agility classes in September. I have a long history of border collie agility excellence to live up to.
I showed off some of my herding skills when Amy and David brought me to a softball practice last weekend. Someone was hitting flyballs to players in the outfield and I would chase them all down. Afterward I ran into the dugout and found the only spot of shade and cooled down until practice was over.
Have you noticed how hot it's been this summer?! It's been crazy! Whenever I come inside the house I head straight to the air conditioning vent and plop down next to it.
My prefered way to sleep these days is upside down next to the vent with my back paws straight up in the air. I'm glad we got that new floor on the 1st floor cause it feels so much better than carpet on hot days.
What else has happened? Oh, a few Fridays ago, Amy came home from work to find that my normally white head was yellow.
She forced me into the tub to wash my head :o( I have yet to explain how my fur turned all yellow and after that bath, I don't think I will tell her...hmph!
