Love that Dirt
This past weekend we had great weather, it was nice and sunny and warm both days so I got to spend a whole lot of time outside. On Saturday, I went to my first day of Dog Obedience I class. There were 20 or so dogs there but I kept on snapping at them when they came up to sniff me :o( I guess I just get nervous, but hopefully being in this class with all of these dogs will help me feel more comfortable around strange dogs. I did pretty well in the class though, we learned how to heel, make turns and in our last exercise of the class, we had to weave in between dogs and their owners, that was a toughie. Then yesterday, I got to play frisbee and had a long playtime with Rusty and Kibbles. I also got to see my next door neighbor, the mini-daschund Dino (don't worry, I don't snap at any of them). He had back surgery last week but he's up and about and seems to be doing really well. Amy, David and I also went for a long 4 mile walk around Lake Accotink and afterward I got to try swimming again. With this new collar I got for my obedience class, I was really good and didn't pull at all!
With the nice weather, we've started going into the back yard. Other than our deck, there's dirt everywhere and I love it!
I think Amy and David want to grow grass and cover up the dirt, but until they do I will eat as much dirt as I can!
Unfortunately after my dirt eating binge Amy dragged me inside and gave me a bath :o(
