First Lake Outing
Today Amy and David took me to Lake Accotink for my first swimming expedition. I spied some ducks in the lake.
So I tried taking my first tentative steps into the water to try and get to them.
But it was really cold!
I didn't want too far into the water, so I tried waving at them to get them closer.
It didn't quite work so well. So I just decided to watch them at a distance from the shore.
I may not have been able to get any of them, but I still had a lot of fun. We went for a hike through the woods afterward. When we got back into the car, I was pooped.
Amy and David say they'll take me back again soon, I hope so. Maybe when the water gets warmer I'll try venturing out farther.
